Also Enable UPnP on your router configuration page. (Universal PLug And Play)
This should give you better gaming connection!

Mine is a speedtouch router and all i did was to fix it is typing my ip into the address bar and adding xbox live to the list on game connections.

go into run, and type cmd. Then type ipconfig and scroll up to the top, and there shud be sumet that says deafult gateway. write down the number. That's the number u need to type into ur internet. (;

to get to the command prompt with vista just type "cmd" (without quotes) in the search bar when you click on the the start at bottom left corner

Hey guys, I am new too this forum. But I got a few questions about this whole NAT stuff. I have a linksys wireless router I have two other xboxes and both of them uses wireless network adapters, and I have mine connected through my laptop I put the ethernet cable into my laptop and the other side into the back of my xbox. Now the other two xboxes don't have the NAT problem like I do. Is it because i am using my laptops connection? I tried doing all the NAT tuts and nothing has worked, I tried doing the static IP address for my xbox and I keep getting errors that the IP address is incorrect or something like that. Someone please help me ASAP!
