I have tried multiple things but cannot get it to stay. Someone plz help me. I would be forever greatful. Thanks in advance. Just name every single method to make the NAT open. i have a Linksys router BTW.

Can someone explain, in detail, what putting your xbox into the DMZ does? My brother says that it will cause all bandwidth to go to the xbox, making his and my computer slow down so he won't even try this solution. My NAT has been messed up for a while and I'm at my wits end. I just bought a year of xbox live that is now pretty much worthless.

What brand router do you have? There should be an option to restore default settings on you router config page. Im not sure if this will change the user name and password back but its worth a try.
