Most belkins are easy to sort with UPnP (needs to be on its own, no dmz or forwarding tho)

Hey I'm finding it a problem to connect with two of my friends on Xbox Live. on Call of Duty 4 it just keeps saying unable to connect to host or connection time ran out when i invite them or when they invite me. and on Halo it comes up with 'Morderate NAT' problem error.
Will this process help me in anyway?

I had a problem with my Nat on my Belkin as it was at strict so i bought an new router.. had the same problem with that.
and THEN
discovered it was connecting to my brother who was connected to a computer whcih was full of virus's which caused my computers anti virus (Notrtons) to make my routers settings strict.
Told my brother he disconnects the computer from the router ( in his house) now and I re-installed the belkin and it plays fine now...
that might be solution to your problem.. it worked for me especially when there is one gamer you cannot connect to.

with my belkin i had trouble connecting with people on COD and some people couldnt hear me talking but i could connect with them.....i put my consoles ip (192.168.2.2) into the DMZ and also added port 88 (UDP) and port 3074 (TCP&UDP) to the virtual servers and use the xbox's IP in there as well
never had problems since then

My mate has a problem like this except he uses ICS so he gets a Strict NAT,
how can he change it to moderate? (i know he cant get open using ICS) and he's using the BT home hub.

I simply enabled DMZ for my xbox with a static IP, and it worked. No port forwarding.
