cannot recover gamertag
alright about two days ago i was playing my 360 and my fiances ornament fell on my hdd and it wouldnt work after that so i went and bought a new one but when i get home i try and recover my gamertag and nothing i got as far as it starting to download my tag but it kicked me off and said some crap like xbox signup server unavailable and now when i try all i get to is where i put in my email and password and it kicks me off ive checked all my connections and there fine ive been on this for two days now WTF

I was at my gfs house and i downloaded my account. Took probly an hour and half. It was ridiculous. Its probly a problem with them not you.

Yeah mate I'm having trouble too. Just chill and try it every 1-2 hours or something. So frustrated though.

That same thing happened to me, you just have to keep on re-trying again and again, took me around 30min to get my recover my gamertag.

hey, when you recover a gamer tag, does it recover save points and everything or just your name and achievements?

i know i tiried to recover at my friends house yesterday it went half way and stopped and know it wont let me recover it back on mine
