Help cant open NAT
ive been trying to open my NAT for a while now but i cant semm to find out how to do.

I have speedtouch 585v6 modem which i use to connect my laptop to internet then i am using cable to connect my laptop to xbox using connection sharing to get onto xbox live i also have Norton 360 but i dont know if this has anything to do with it but anyway it might

can som1 please help it annoying getting disconected from games and loosing points just because of my nat

first off, u will have to forward ports or DMZ, if you don't know how to forward ports then you are pretty well screwed because portforward.com is the easiest site to learn how to do this.

Your next hope is to dmz your router. So log into it, find the letters "DMZ" and type in the ip address of your 360

yeah i went to that thread and i tried too.. still came up as moderate hey.. did all that port forewarding opened PnP n all that crap.. so yeah i kinda gave up

right i did the static ip bit thats ok now

i did the ports it told me to do 88 and 3074 but my nat is still strict its reAlly annoying

i find that i have to restart my router but the xbox has to be the first to be switched on then any pc,laptop.then my nat is open.
