does this count as logging in??
well, i just wanted to know if loggin into my account in xbox.com can count as loggin in on my xbox live account, just askin since i don't want my gold live to be cancelled because of inactivity (i'm getting paranoid on that thing :P)

i think someone posted that he got his live cancelled, but it never said why, does anyone know if that REALLY can happen? im nervous enough thinking about the red ring of death and now i gotta worry about my live being cancelled

You will never get your live canceled by being inactive since you pay for it. Also it doesn't count as signing into live when you log in at xbox.com, but you can send messages to your friends on live from xbox.com.

I haven't used my 360 in 2 days. This morning my sig below said i hadn't been online in 2 days.
After reading this thread I logged into xbox.com and now it says I was last online 6 mins ago.(this will change as the day goes on  )
I would think it does count. To answer the op's question.

haha, I went about a month and a half not using live (or my 360 at all) and my live was still there when I turned it on the next time... they DON'T cancel it.
