Hey guys, great thread.
For the last few months i've been playing XBL fine then my 360 crashed last night. Basically a big red ring and an error message in every language imaginable on the screen so I hooked up my other 360 that Microsoft had just sent me back after 2 months. Anyways, I'm having a bit of bother trying to get back on XBL.
Firstly, there was an IP problem but I found out my router/modem is static IP so I did it manually which seemed to have worked but now theres a DNS problem. Heres what I've done so far:
*I manually entered my DNS settings by retrieving them from the command prompt to no avail.
*I tried resetting my router to see if it would kick start and I've followed all the steps on the XBOX/support site and xboxlivetheguide sites but I still can't pass the DNS test.
Any help/tips much appreciated.  |

hi
just want to ask if you know how to connect 2 360s to the same router so they dont kick each other off. both got own live gold accounts.

Does anyone know if you have to have the ethernet networking card to connect to XBL through a wireless laptop? May be a dumb question or i may be getting confused, but i have read you can connect sharing your wireless laptops connection, just dont wanna go out and buy extra parts.
