GTA IV Connection problems, HELP!!!

Only a few times have I successfully connected to an onling GTA IV game. When I do its no more than like 4 or 5 people. I just tried like ten times and it won't let me connect. My nat is open. I have a wired connection going to my belkin N wireless router. I have no problems connecting to anyone in COD4 which is the only other game I play online. Someone please tell me its the GTA servers struggling to keep up with the millions of people playing and not my network.

Ya dude, I'm having the same issues. All my friends can connect just fine, but almost every time I either get an "unable to connect" message, or "game match no longer exists". I've played COD4, Gears, and Halo 3 no problem. My NAT is open. I stupidly haven't tried turning off my router and back on again, I'm trying that tonight. It sux cuz I have to hear about how awesome the multiplayer is from my friends all day at work, then I go home to join in and watch connecting screens that end in error messages. Yuk.

I just got a wireless network adapter to replace my 50' ethernet cord and for some reason its letting me connect online to gta4 more often. Unfortunately the multiplayer kinda sucks compared to gears or cod4. Oh well. Still a great single player game.
