Hi i am trying to connect to Xbox live in the uk using a direct modem connection.
My pc is currently on windows xp and when i look in network connection or on dos for my ip and dns server it gives me these:
82.0.49.96
255.255.252.0
82.0.48.1
dns: 194.168.4.100
194.168.8.100
However when i use these details on live it says ip failed so i restarted my modem and on network connections as my modem is starting up it gives me these details
192.168.100.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.100.1
but no dns setting i tried these on live and it now says ip confirmed however i try my dns from the other settings and it says dns failed how can i obtain the dns for them details or how to i get around this thanks
