can sites like xboxlivefreemsp.com which offer free Microsoft points be trusted at the moment i don't think they can cos this 1 at least ask for Ur gamer tag email & password. on the other hand what could they do with these details?

no dont trust any of them, they know loads a ppl use the same password for everything, so they will break into your email, maybe nick your gamer tag too if they want to?

Anything that asks for any passwords can not be trusted.

If it did work I'm pretty sure Microsoft would have sued them or something by now.

Dont give them your details they could just ring microsoft and pretend to be you and buy points or cancel your account

Most of them CAN be trusted. You can trust that they will sell your account information, give your e-mail address to spammers and potentially circulate your password around those who might have a desire to have a compromised password.

I mean you seriously have to think about this for about 3 seconds. What benefit to them is there for you visiting their site and filling out a useless survey? Certainly not enough monetarily to pay for all of these MS Points that they claim to give away. But to get a bunch of information about a bunch of people and then turn around and sell THAT to others.....well now that makes sense.
