Sound quality on Xbox LIVE movies.
I have recently downloaded a few movies on Xbox LIVE.
I noticed that standard definition movies have 5.1 audio, whereas HD movies only have stereo. This is on most the the movies on there, with a few exceptions. Do you know why they do this?

What's your full setup and how are you connecting the 360 to your receiver?

Aren't those just speakers? What type of receiver do you have plugged into them?

They are 5.1
I don't know about the receiver.
I think they are stereo for everyone, if you check on marketplace most of the HD ones say stereo.

Well, if they're stereo for everyone there's not much you can do.
If you really want to improve your SQ, you should sell your Bose(they sell used for a lot...) and get a higher quality setup.
