It's pretty simple. A ton of us have the 48 free Hours of Xbox Live! Gold cards which come with almost all 360 games. They are useless to those of us, who are already Gold subscribers. So the premise is simple. If you want to share your 48 Hours Free Code with another member who doesn't have Gold, post here and let them know you've got a spare code,so you can enjoy the 48 free Hours of Xbox Live! Gold. This will cut down on the million individual code request threads.

Im currently on my 1st month free, which will end soon, and Nath and Bopper have given me a 48 hour code, which will do for a few weekends I guess.
Im really tempted to go for the year subscription, but Im worried I wont give enough time to my 1 year old (and we have another on the way!) if I get fully subscribed!! Then again even in my free trial Im only usually on for an hour or two per day in the evening when my daughter is asleep, which makes me think I should just get it!
Its only £40 which is pretty good for a whole year in all honesty, so its not the money, its how hooked I get!!! lol
