X3F Wrecking Crew Chat

Hey guys,

I am tired of messaging you all individually, so here is a place where we can chat.

We need a place to chat about great wins, clutch comebacks, and crazy plays that we have saved. We can also share our file share links to vids and stuff here as well.

Of course anyone can post here, I just wanted us to have a place where we can all see stuff. Please keep this thread on-topic so it doesn't annoy the general population of X3F by getting unnecessarily bumped.

THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: Possible name change.

Just to clear up any confusion, the wrecking crew is:

However... while traveling on Interstate 70 between Indianapolis and Kansas City (all 8 hours of it!), I came across a semi-truck that had a name on the back. As soon as I read it, I was instantly inspired to bring it to the attention of the Crew. I have already Googled it and it appears no one is using it yet, not that I care, LOL.

My suggestion for a new name is:
The Clutch Company.

Here is my reasoning. Our crew comes through in the clutch so often, that it can easily be an identifying trait. There are many occasions where our teammates save our lives when we have no way of saving it ourselves. Secondly, a COMPANY is a band of soldiers, which is what we are.

I love it and have shared it with HsZion and he seems to like it alot too. Time to discuss, Crew. BTW, the truck that had 'clutch company' on the back is a literal company that makes clutches for vehicles, LOL.

I think what I like about it is that it's not a typical... whats the word i'm looking for...
Well basically I guess it's not a typical group name. Typical group names, I find, include 'aggressive words' that make them sound badarse like; the assassinators, or bullet time, killer sparta, creamycupcakewonders...
The Crew Company, It's very different, though if we were to change our names to that, i'm sure we would have to explain the reasoning behind our name choice. Before you explained yourself Tufo, I was a bit '?'
All in all, I like how it's a unique name and the explanation behind it make sense.

Personally I feel the Clutch Company makes it sound like we get into a lot of bad situations and have to come through in the clutch, which makes us sound bad. How often do we barely just pull out a win instead of just dominating? Also it just doesn't have that ring to it.

I guess I havent played with you, pebblez, zion and dave alot, but i'm playing with Steve and True practically every day for 2-3 hours, along with MisterJ and Vermillion occasionally popping in. I was thinkin i haven't seen the rest of you a awful lot lately, then true told me pebblez was RROD, zion was giving halo a break, and I guess you've been away.

I love clutch company how many times do we lose close games? Hardly ever because someone on our team comes up huge at the right time giving us the win. Not like we identify ourselves when we go into a lobby anyways :P but it has my vote over the crew.
