HD Too dark?

When I use HD on my Goodmans tv the picture is too dark, it actually looks better using the scart connector.
Any ideas how to fix? The brightness setting does not sort it out.

sure its switched to HD on the cable mate? and maybe in the xbox settings? setting mine up tonght so hope its gonna look ok

maybe its the AV setting on the tv??? Or else just make sure your cable is switched to HD as said above^^

i have my 360 hooked up through my hd connection on my 32 inch hd tv , and it was too dark also , but my tv has settings like (personal , movies etc etc ) i set my personal up bright enough to where my games look vibrant . and when i watch tv i set to another setting at the push of a button , see if your tv has settings like that . by the way , im using RGB cables hooked into the high def port on my tv , not rca or s-video .

are you viewing through component? maybe change brightness/contrast??

hi all - thanks for the tips. I have put brightness etc right up and it is playable, but I am sure its not right. When I play on a daylight track (like London) the shadows are really dark.

It may be my TV as it is set to component and all set correctly..
